A tutorial complete with the breakdown of all the verses of Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Under the Bridge. I don’t recommend this song to beginner’s it sort of fast paced and there a couple of bar chords.

I think this song is popular on Rock Band, a video games like Guitar Hero, learning it in on the real guitar is much more interesting though. :D

Another oldie but nonetheless a great song to play with on the guitar.

It’s a fairly simple song with basic chords.

Here’s how to play that infamous and addictive riff in the beginning of Beat It by Michael Jackson.

He play’s it slow paced and describes which individual chords and strings to play. It’s a cinch to play after a couple minutes of practice.

Classic Coldplay song. ‘Nuff said.

He addresses the song construction, chords, and progression thoroughly.

A video if you can learn just by watching:

Here’s another tutorial that puts it’s focus on making the strumming and rhythm more manageable.

Here’s a high quality video (both in detail and teaching) on how to play Need You Now, a fairly current pop/country song getting heavy radio play.

Since this song is not difficult to play, he provides tips on how to create your own little version. :)

Artist: Lady Antebellum

The original version is played on a slide in an open tuning but here’s a lesson that’s easier.

The main riff is highly addictive and effortless to play! Check it out. :)

Artist: White Stripes

He teaches you the basic of the songs and incorporates a couple of cool tips. I wouldn’t suggest this song for a beginner, there are a couple of power chords in the song.

He conveniently plays it on the key of E so you don’t need to drop d tune your guitar. (switching from Drop D to standard is so annoying!). :)

Check it out!

Artist: Green Day

One of my personal favorite songs to sing and play at the same time. The strumming pattern is consistent throughout the whole song and all the chords are a cinch to play.

Have fun singing “You’re Beautiful….” falsetto to yourself. :)

Artist: James Blunt

Jeff Buckley’s version of Hallelujah is definitely one of the most popular songs ever. Here’s a tutorial on how to play it.
I would say it’s a easy level song, the only hard part perhaps being 1 hammer on.

Artist: Jeff Buckley

High quality guitar video lesson on how to play John Mayer’s Gravity on the electric guitar. He zooms into the frets and teaches you which strings to pluck and play step be step. :)
