He goes into great detail on how to play the individual parts of The Climb – the intro, verse, and chorus. The capo’s on the fourth fret so you can avoid some hard bar chords. The rhythm of The Climb is very repetitive but it still takes a bit of practice.

This is a surprisingly very fun and funky guitar riff to play. I don’t recommend beginners to try to play this song though, it’s a bit fast paced and there are numerous bar chords (your fingers have to hold down multiple strings down at the same time) in it.
